LOUISVILLE, KY (FEBRUARY 4, 2008) - Louisville, Kentucky knows how to embrace world-class events. We're famous for turning a two-minute horse race - the Kentucky Derby - into a three-week party, the award winning Kentucky Derby Festival.
And you can help us capture the spirit this coming September. We have a unique fete in store when the PGA of America hosts the 37th Ryder Cup at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, September 16-21, 2008.
The Louisville Host Committee is inviting our national and international guests in town for the Ryder Cup - and local residents - to attend The Cup Experience, an all out, jam-packed, citywide celebration expected to be the largest festival ever held Ryder Cup week. We've named Fuzzy Zoeller, former US Open and Masters Champion and three-time US Ryder Cup player, Honorary Chair of The Cup Experience. And we'd like you to join in as we set the bar for future Ryder Cup host sites.
