FAQ

Q: Can I still get tickets to the tournament?

A: Tickets for the Ryder Cup are hard to come by - for ticket information, visit: www.rydercup.com/2008/usa/. But with so many activities around Louisville, you can still be part of the celebration. And every minute of the Ryder Cup action will be televised on large televisions at The Cup Village at Fourth Street Live!

Q: How will traffic around Louisville be affected?

A: During the Ryder Cup and The Cup Experience, certain streets will be closed and traffic is expected to be heavy in areas around the events and activities.  But the same holds true for The Ryder Cup as it does for the Kentucky Derby - all the fun is worth a little inconvenience. Any street closings will be publicized by the local news media, and you can check this website for any updates.

Q: Where can I buy official The Cup Experience merchandise?

A: Official The Cup Experience merchandise will be available at area Meijer stores, or by calling 800-992-9905. For more information, visit www.allprochamps.com.

Q: What will be the economic impact for Louisville?

A: The 2004 Ryder Cup, held at the Oakland Hills Country Club outside of Detroit, Michigan, had a local economic impact of approximately $115 million. It's not out of the question for Metro Louisville and Kentucky to expect similar or greater results.

Q: Where will the proceeds from The Cup Experience activities go?

A: All proceeds will be awarded to select charities.

Q: What can I do to help?

A: Volunteers are needed for all events, so check out our Volunteer page to see how you can help. Of course, the best thing you can do is to enjoy all the fun, and be friendly, helpful and patient with our guests - in other words, be yourself.
