Charles "Hens" Hensley, who plays right-handed from the right side, took up golf after he was married and notched his best score, a 71, at a country club in Alabama. He started playing in the North American One-Armed Golfer Association Championship four years ago. He says he's never had much formal golf instruction, but has learned and improved by the many hours he's spent on the driving range. Hensley, who has an industrial engineering degree, has worked in operations, sourcing and development at an apparel manufacturing company and now serves as vice president of operations. Part of his job is designing brassieres ("Somebody has to do it," he says). He has been married for 23 years and has two teen-aged children. He lost his left arm at birth when the umbilical cord cut off circulation. Hensley also won several tennis and racquetball intramural tournaments in college, and enjoys softball. Golf Handicap: 12
