Brian Crombie boasts one thing that almost all golfers will be jealous of, regardless of ability or disability - membership at St Andrews, the home of golf. A former Royal Marine, Brian lost his left arm in 1989 following a serious accident on an oil rig in the North Sea, the very same week he joined his local golf club. He cites golf and his strong family as the main inspirations for overcoming his disability. Brian will be well known to his Fightmaster Cup opponents and one of Great Britain and Ireland's strongest competitors - he is a three-time World Champion, and once reached the final of a long-driving contest despite being the only entrant with one arm. Playing right hand forehand, Brian once shot a gross 74 on the Old Course at St Andrews - a score that would not shame many a professional. A keen soccer fan and regular pool player, Brian"s time away from sports is dominated by his two young grandchildren. Golf Handicap: 12
