Brendan Swan will be another tough opponent for the American team in the Fightmaster Cup - he is the third World Champion in the European team. Brendan won his world championship at Headfort Golf Club in 2001, 12 years after taking the game up with his brother. He plays his golf right hand forehand, and once shot a gross 78 on his home course. A firm believer that there is always someone worse off than you, Brendan has overcome losing his left arm following an accident in 1985 when his arm was caught in an industrial conveyor belt. A fan of Gaelic football, Brendan is also an avid horse racing fan and is looking forward to visiting Kentucky, with its rich tradition of racing and thoroughbred breeding, and maybe even picking a few winners.
